We are so sorry for your loss. We were having coffee with neighbours last night and they mentioned Ray’s passing…our jaws dropped. We walk our dog regularly and several years ago we stopped to admire your flowers, and we just started talking, as we now know was Ray’s way! What a delightful soul! And to our astonishment, when we mentioned we had come back from a trip to Cape Breton, Ray got into a bit of his history, and we find out not only is he from there, he’s a Nicholson! My wife’s mom’s family are Nicholson's from Mabou! We just watched the live-streamed service, and are touched. Thank you for sharing your dad and husband.

Harry Klann is my first cousin and he and Hertha talked about how the service was such a blessing and that Ray was inspirational. After Cynthia and I watched it we have to agree. The music was a blessing as well as the message from the pastor. It would have been nice to personally have known Ray.

Beautiful tribute of Ray, I worked with Ray at the Glenrose Hospital Years ago. He was friendly always smiling, always stopped to chat for a few minutes. Enjoyed visiting with him and Sharon at the Spruce Grove Horizon Stage concerts good times had by all. Deepest sympathies to Sharon, children and the families.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of Uncle Ray’s funeral from afar. I am sure he is beaming from above with the love delivered in this service. There were so many great memories and love in those photos. He was truly treasured and will forever be missed.

Ray was a special person to my dad Lage Johnson. Dad would often talk about ejoying his work with Ray on the Glenrose grounds and said he is just like a brother to him. Mom and Dad both enjoyed a visit from Ray and Sharon and their friendship. I worked with Ray during his nursing time as well and he was liked by all. Jim and I watched the service and so enjoyed the musical tribute. You have a family orchestra to be proud of.
